The "gpm" package contains a mouse server for the Magnux Linux system console. It is meant to provide cooked mouse events to text-only applications, such as editors and simple menu-based apps. This package contains the mouse server, which allows you to use the mouse on the console. To install this package you will also need to install the gpm-libs package.
