Powertweak is a tool for tweaking Linux systems to peak performace. It tunes PCI devices to use optimal settings and enables performance enhancing features of the CPU(s).

This package contains just the powertweakd daemon which is used to setup the host when booting. To tweak the system you must install either the powertweak-gtk or powertweak-text package which provides the GTK or text mode front, respectively.
