gnome-pim-devel 1.2.0 (2M) GNOME development
Libraries and include files for developing gnome-pim applications.

GNOME (GNU Network Object Model Environment) is a user-friendly set of applications and desktop tools to be used in conjunction with a window manager for the X Window System. GNOME is similar in purpose and scope to CDE and KDE, but GNOME is based completely on free software. The gnome-pim-devel package includes the libraries and include files that you will need to develop addtional gnome-pim applications.

Currently these apps are present:

- gnomecal : personal calendar and todo list - gnomecard: contact list of friends and business associates

You should install the gnome-pim package if you would like to bring some order to your life. You will also need to install the gnome-libs and ORBit packages. If you would like to develop addtional applications for the Personal Information Manager suite you will need to install the gnome-pim-devel package.
