XFree86-P9000 is the X server for video cards built around the Weitek P9000 chip, such as most Diamond Viper cards and the Orchid P9000 card.

If you are installing the X Window System and you have a Weitek P9000 based video card, you should install XFree86-P9000. You will also need to install XFree86, one or more of the XFree86 fonts packages, X11R6-contrib, Xconfigurator and XFree86-libs. If you're going to develop applications that run as X clients, you will also need to install XFree86-devel.
